LAWN TENNIS
At a well-attended meeting held in the Seatoun School it was decided to inaugurate a tennis club, under' the auspices of the Seatoun School Committee. The chairman (Mr. Hewitt) stated that three excellent courts, two of which could be used immediately, were available. It was moved that the name of £\, c, lv- b be, T, he Kakariki Tennis Club in order to distinguish it from the Seatoun Club. The election of officers resulted :—Committee, Mrs Y-eo man, and Misses Warring, \Veb]y~ Mune and Ihorn and Messrs. Wesney Klee Hewitt, and Murray.
