Mr. C. E. Matthews (Under-Secretary of Justice and Controller-General of Prisons) left last night for Chriatchurch, and will afterwards proceed to Dunedin and Invercargill on Prisons and Justice departmental business.
The Shetland Society will hold a dance in tho Victoria Hall, Adelaide road, tomorrow evening.
