LYMPNE PERFORMANCES.

LONDON, 11th October. Flight-Lieutenant Longton, flying a motor glider at the Lynvpne competition, rounded the course with a petrol consumption equivalent to a .gallon for 87 J; miles, equalling the previous best record. Mr. Hinckler completed 812 miles, and is maintaining the lead in the reliability test. It 16 calculated that these performances mean- that it ia possible for a pilot to fly from London to Eome for an expenditure of 20s for fuel.
