COAL SHORTAGE
COMPLAINT FROM TAUMARUNUI
The secretary of the New Zealand Miners' Federation (Mr. P. O'Rourke) has received the following telegram from Mr. F. Langstone, M.P. for Waimalino, dispatched from Taumarunui : "Blacksmiths right out of West Coast coal. Is there any available in Wellington? Newcastle will do if procurable. Industry here will close down unless.supplies come to hand."
