. BRISBANE, 7th October. As a result of the drought, which is Stated to be worse than m 1802, it is estimated the wheat crop will yield only 500,000 bushels. A}! crops in the Ncrth-|.-n Darling Downs have failed, and most have been already fed off. Many crops in the Southern Darling Downs are only six inches high, are in ear, and too short iven for hay. The position now is acute, and the prospects of rain are still discouraging.
