A BETTER SPIRIT
MINISTER'S ON CONTINUOUS TRAINING.
That good results should accrue from the continuous training parades, the details of which were outlined in yesterday's "Post," was the opinion express-, ed 'to-day by the" Minister .of Defence (the Hon. Sir R. Heaton Rhodes). Although they were not camps in the ordinary sense, of the word, the Minister said the idea was for the Territorials to remain in camp overnight if they wished _ They could go into'town to follow their .civil ■ avocations in the daytime, and return to the. training depot or^camp at night, in order to receive further instruction. Last year Wellington Artillery units had undergone a, period of such continuous training at beatmin., and a mosf profitable tilde had been spent.
