Ordinarily, provision was made whereby workers ■of similar grade performing- work that was largely unskilled should be paid according to age: in this case tlie-rates suggested that juniors began at about 18, but the parties had agreed that the basis of payment should be years of service and not age. A junior according to the award might therefore be of any age.
