WARM AND PLEASANT WEATHER
The high pressure conditions which have ruled, particularly over the North Island, have held off disturbances, which have probably passed northward and southward of the Dominion, for rain has been recorded both in the far North and in the South. It was wet practically all day yesterday in the far North; drizzling rain prevailed, and similar conditions were again reported this morning. Warm und pleasant conditions have ruled in most other parts, with balmy breezes from the North. The conditions, however, are still threatening from a meteorological standpoint, and to-morrow will probably see the barometer below normal in all parts "of the Dominion, and it is likely to go low in the South in the next two or three days, with a. change in the weather. The prospect for the immediate future, however, is for mild and humid conditions, with increasing cloud, and haziness, and further rain in the North, West Coast, and Southern districts.'
