SPRING WEATHER
The weather is rather difficult to describe in general terms, because conii ?? • been so changeable over the Dominion. Cloudy skies are much in evidence, with light showers in pnrts. Wellington had three degrees of frost last night. South-west to north-west breezes have prevailed. The barometer is now unsteady, with a falling tendency, particularly in the south. Westerly winds are likely to prevail, although northerly for a short time locally; slues cloudy to overcast at times, with scattered rainfall, particularly on all the western coast, but milder and hazy con.ditions may be looked for elsewhere. '
