VESTEYS ACQUIRE MEAT INTERESTS
Vestey's, it is understood, hav e acquired interests in the Poverty Bay Farmers' Freezing Company", Gisborne. The purchasing company already has a freezing works in Gisborne, but the property of the farmers' company is larger and rather more up to date. The farmers' company is also owners of the insulated^ steamer Admiral Codrington. Vestey's are owners of the Blue.Star Line of meat carriers.
