BOARD OF GOVERNORS MEETS.

The monthly meeting of the Wellington Technical College Board of Governors was held last evening, Mr. L. R. Partridge preeidin;?. There were also present: Messrs. T. Ballinger, G. L Stewart, W. Pascoe. T. Forsyth, C H Chapman, J. Barras, A: J. White, j! A. Clark, J. 0. Shorland, and C.' A.' Lawrence.

The Education Department advised that a grant of £11 had been approved for another sewing machine' for dressmaking and needlework classes.

The Wellington Electrical - Traders' Association notified that the association ■would donate a gold medal,- books, or trophy of the value of two. guineas annually for presentation to the Technical College _student receiving the highest marks in the annual electrical examinations.
