TAIHAPE, this Day. At a well-attended meeting of the Tailapa branch, of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, the following motion was .. unanimously adopted : '■" That this branch of the Taihape A.S.R.S. congratulates the West Coast miners on the stand taken against the coal companies' lock-out."
At the last meeting of the Thorndon branch of the A.S.R.S. the following .motion was carried:—"That this .branch of the A.S.R.S. sympathises with ,the miners in their, efforts to obtain ,bstter conditions, and promises; them its ;whole-hearted support during the time *hey are locked out."
Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. will tofrnorrow, at 2.30 p.m., at their rooms, JFeatherston street, submit a residential property in Russell crescent, Karori. They will also offer freehold land in .Clyde Btreet, Island' Bay, a centrally-situ-ated property in Vivian street, freehold land end buildings at .Plimmerton beach, and a residence, JJo. 25, Hohiria- road •Jlataitai. They.jwill also submit the 13----nroomed residence, No. 5, M'Tvenzio :l<"rpace, together with the furniture.
