CANTEEN FUNDS

Colonel T. W. M'Donald writes stating that a' typographical error occurred in his letter on the subject of Canteen Funds, printed in "The Post" on Saturday last. In his letter he was quoting the statement of the secretary of the New Zealand Canteens Trust Funds Board that "8500 claims against the Australian funds were declined from applicants who were not seriously disabled." His letter as printed made the quotation read: "8500 claims against the Australian funds were declined from applicants who were not in need, from cxabled."
