. LEVIN SALE. Th§ New. Zealand' Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., reports having conducted a clearing sale of dairy stock, etc., on account of .Mr. W. J. Miller, at the farm, Levm, on Wednesday, 12th September. There was a large attendance of buyere present, and the result, of the sal? proved most satisfactory to the vendor. They quote as under:— Cows close to profit, £10 5s to £1C ss; cowa in full milk; £11 15s-to £18 10s; cows having been milked through the; winter and in low condition and empty,. £4 to £0; three-quartered cows, £2 5s to £i 10s; yearling heifers, £3 to £5; bull, £9 9s;. sows in pig, £3 15s to £1! ss; sows empty, £2 5s to £2 12s 6d; wcaner pigs, 16s; horse, dray, and harness, £37; horse, gig, and harness, £42 10s; s.f.'plough. £16; mower, £17 10s; hay rake, £10; poultry, 7s to l's per. pair. ' Sundries brought good market values; on account of outside, vendor.' Two gPod quality cows close to .profit sold at £18 and £20 10s. ' . . *
