PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
A man's.foolishness arid a woman's cupidity form the basis of tie plot in "A Fool There Was," now being screend at , the Paramount . Theatre. Lewis Stone, who takes the leading role, is surrounded by a happy home, a lovely wife, two children, a host of friends, and efficient wealth to make'life easy. He sacrifices all these; Imt, ultimately, a happy ending is reached by the intervention of a friend. A second feature of the ■ programme is"Truxton King," one of the famous Graustark' Btories, by George Barr M'Cutcheon. The minor films are excellent, and bright music is supplied by the orchestra.
