DROWNED AT A FORD
(BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 17th September. Stanley Carter, whose father resides at Mangaweka, was drowned while trying to ford a river near Mercer. Deceased was a married man, and leaves a' widow and three children.
