The monthly social gathering of the Belmont Progressive Association was held jn the Belmont Schoolroom on baturday evening, about eighty/residents b«nf Present.^ Mr. C.T. Natusch presided.. An enjoyable musical programme under the ablo direction of Mr. Mason was given and much appreciated. A musical party from the Hutt, consisting of Mrs. O'Kane and her son Maurice arid daughter Zella, contributed violin solos and monologues' respectively. The balance of the programme was given by residents of the district. A hearty .vote of thanks was siven to the artists, and a, Tery successful gathering was concluded by the singing of the National Anthem. . ..' > '
