"He was in a position of trust, and robbed his employer. He is a man of mature years, and I am afraid I cannot, grant probation in this case," remarked Mr- E. Page, ,S.M., when Edward Paul Wright appeared for sentenca at the Magistrate's Court to-day on * charge of stealing goods to the value of £19 9s 6d, the property of 0. Hill and. Sons. A sentence of three months' imprisonment .was imposed.
