LICENSING COMMITTEE
The quarterly meeting of the Licensing Committee was held to-Say, when Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., presided. The police reported a satisfactory condition of all ■hotels in the City of Wellington for, the past quarter. Application for the Tenewal of the license Of the Pier Hotel was granted. That of the Grand Hotel was adjourned pending a report on certain structural alterations to be presented by the next quarterly meeting. Be- 1 cause the statutory three months h»d not elapsed since the last meeting, the applications for the transfer of the licenses of the Dominion, Albert, Carlton, Masonic. Princess, and Thistle Inn Hotels vrero adjourned to th« December meeting of the Committee, '...'
