(Received 3rd September, 10 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, 2nd Sept. :A wireless message from Tarmoka, . Japan, to the Radio' Corporation of America, reports that the^Tokio fire has been extinguished:- The dispatch further states:that the fire extended throughout 1 the down-town section of Tokio, and destroyed the central telegraph and telephone offices. The\fire was stopped at noon, when favourable atmospheric and physical conditions'assisted the firemen to check the 'flames. A dispatch from Pekin, cabled to-day, described the conditions fourteen hours before the Tamioka message was sent.
