STRAND THEATRE.
The programme at the Strand Theatre to-day,-is headed by two First National attractions. The first of these is Norma Talmadgo's ■ latc6t starring vehicle, " Smiliu' Through," a . screen version of Allen Langdon Martin's famous play. The second feature, "The Light in the Dark," is being ■ screened for the first time iv Wellington, and features Hope Hampton and Lon Chancy, both well known artists. The supporting programme includes one of Charles. Chaplin's earlier, comedies, " The Jazz Waiter,", while the Pathe Gazette depicts all the latest happenings abroad. . ' . ' ' :
