Williams' arid 'Wash"--burn were somewhat inaccurate, but Williams "■ played' wonderful tennis at times, serving spldndidly. and doing many etcellerifc angled Backhand" volleys'. Tilden served wonderfully and. volleyed beauti« fully. Norton played His best tennis of tlie week. '■' ■
