CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The weather was fine for training work at Kiccarton this morning. Angola and Kilfane did lour furlongs in 52sec. Explorer jumped one brush fence badly, and then worked on the flat. Contempt did six furlongs in lmin 19sec, and Carawock' and Blue Socks a mile. and a quarter in 2min 21seo. Distant Shot did four furlongs in 50 l-ssec,. Purple Spur in 49 4-ssec, and Boadicea in 52 2-sseo easily. Oakleigh and Peter Am'ans went seven furlongs in lmin 363-ssec.; Rouen and Nukumai jumped four hurdles well. Arataura left five furlongs behind in lmin 7 2-ssec easily. Omahu and Maitulla over a mile took lmin 47 4-ssec. Avispado and Guncase did five furlongs in lmin 6 2-ssec, Geranial four furlongs in 50 4-ssec. Staff Officer was better than Orange Bitters in a round ol the steeplechase fences, mvising the double. Manawapango did the same task alone. L Amour and Tawehi covered four furlongs in 51 2-ssec, 'and Prince I<erouz and Paphian five furlongs in lmin b 3-ssec. Ranui jumped well over the fences, Dick following in a similar task. Sunny Loch did four furlongs in 52 3-5 sec easily, Benniure and Mountain Signal taking the same time. Fabrinade did four furlongs in 50 3-ssec, and Barmaid and Red Wink took the same time together Bon Spec taking 51 l-ssec. Will Oakland did a short sprint. Phil May covered seven furlongs in lmin 37 o-osec, and Parorangi six in lmin 20sec.
