The .Lower Hutt Ratepayers' Association this week discussed the proposal of the council to acquire certain properties in Mam street, including the lamily Hotel, Exchange Buildings. The matter was carefully considered, and the members of the association were unanimously of opinion that the council was warmly to be commended for the action it proposed taking. It was urged that all ratepayers should support the proposal, which will ultimately be greatly to U» bspsfit e{ Jho .community.
