TRANSPORT UNION'S REPORT
LONDON, Bth August, The annual report of the Transport arid General Workers' Union states that the membership exceeds three hundred thousand, and the contributions total ilul-5,000. The union financed seven members of Parliament. By supporting political expenditure it had obtained important industrial improvements. The union had pursued a policy of negotiation and had not encouraged headlong strikes.
