FORECAST OF BILLS
TRAINING OF IMMIGRANTS.

SYDNEY, 7th August. The State Parliament opened with the usual pageantry. The' ' Governor's Speech, after outlining the legislation already forecasted, stated that arrangements had been made witb the Imperial Government for the migration of 6000 new settlers, -who, wherever necessary, will receive the requisite farming instruction under Government auspices. Reform of the Upper House and a Bill safeguarding from allegations of invalidity marriages made pursuant to the laws of the State are also forecasted. Apart from these no important new legislation was outlined.
