INFLUENZA
TOFUA QUARANTINED AT APIA,
(BT TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
AUCKLAND, 7th August. A private wireless message states that the Tofua was quarantined at Apia. The Union Company states that this was due to mild influenza among the passengers. The steamer was granted pratique at Suva, but had to work under quarantine at Tonga and Samoa. She will load the usual cargo at Suva leaving fur Auckland to-morrow evennig.
