AMERICANISING SYDNEY
The Amencanisation of Sydney is a gradual but sure growth. It is a development characteristic of Sydney, tak-i ing the whole of the States, for tnerea-' son perhaps that, it is the 'terminal port of .the American boats. One sees the characteristic in all directions-in the intense hfe of the city, in the kalekU oscopic whirl of traffic, in the riot of noise and hfe, in the me ] odl , alna of mean streets. The latest sign of this development is the recommendation by the Finance Committee of the City m *° Clty HalI» and the name of the.
