(Beceived 4th August, 11 a.m.) •n. t> i- LONI>ON, 3rd August. lhe Parliamentary Labour Party's Unemployment Committee is profoundly dissatisfied with the Government's unemployment programme. It declares that practically nothing has been done to provide industrial employment or training in domestic work for a quarter of a million unemployed young women. The committee proposes an expenditure of at last £60,000,000 upon the improvement of the railway and canal systems, and other public works.
