LODGE MEETINGS
_ The regular meeting of Wellesley Liodge, No. 7 (juvenile branch), 1.0. F., N.Z., was held at Southern Cross Hall, place, on Monday evening, 3ro. R. Meech, N.G., presiding. One juvenile candidate was elected and initiated. On completion of business the juvenile members participated in a world-building competition for a trophy -Jmiated by the president. Bro. J. G. .IcGregor secured the prize. - Esther Eebekab. Lodge, No. 30 1.0.0. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting at Waldie's Hall, Brooklyn, oh Wednesday evening. One brother was admitted to -the Rebekah degree _Wildey. Lodge, No. 107, 1.0.0.F, c* u-i, . its fortn'ghtly meeting at St. Hildas Schoolroom, Island Bay, on Wednesday evening, Bro. J. Nind, N.G., presiding. After concluding essential business, including nomination of one candidate, the lodge entertained members of kindred lodges with an enjoyable euchre party and dance. Victoria Rebekah Lodge No 9 1.0.0. F., N.Z, held its S fortnightly meeting at St. Thomas' Schoolroom Isewtown on Thursday evening, Sister Finch, N.G., presiding. One lady candidate was elected and initiated and another was nominated. Three brothers were admitted to the Rebekah degree On concluding the business the lodge entertained members of kindred lodges Southern Cross Lod"e, No 24 1.0.0. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting at the lodgeroom, Courtenay ?,t \' °£ Thursday evening, Bro. J. H West, N.G., presiding. In addition to other business two candidates were elected and initiated. Two other candidates were nominated. Arrangements were completed for an open social evening at next meeting. Court Lady Glasgow, No. 8261, A.U.K., met last evening in the lodgeroom, Lambton quay, P.C.R. Sister Dallas presiding. A number of the members were reported on as suffering from he influenza, and a large amount of sick pay was passed for payment. Amongst the correspondence was an interesting letter from Lord Glasgow Cast c Kelburn, Scotland, whose mother the late Dowager Countess of Glasgow was a valued .member of the lodge from ts inception in 1884, when she was initiated as a life member.
