Replying to Sir John Luke, the Prims Minister stated that applications for l°ans for dwellings will be considered by the State Advances Department in th'o order in.which they are received. Mr. G. W. Forbes asked whether the abolition of the income tax in regard to S? ers would ***«! effect this year. The Prime Minister replied in the affirmative, providing the Bill became law this session. . - (Left sitting.)
