Now Orleans, Colon, Balboa, and Pittaim Island, arrived in tl:c stri-uin at Wellington at 4.30 o'clock vestcrday afternoon. Alter being passed by the Customs and Health authorities, she berthed at No. 1 south. Queen's Wharf, at about 0 o'clock. Pitcairn Island. A call was made at the island on the 13th July, when fruit and. mails were taken aboard. The La Marseillaise experienced fine to moderate weather until' within six or seven days' steaming of Wellington, when sha encountered a southerly gale, which considerably delayed her arrivel. The cargo, 730 tons, consists of oil and motor-cars and a quantity of miscellaneous goods. Only a small portion is.-for Wellington. The remainder is for discharge at Australian ports and Shanghai. The La Marseillaise is a vessel of 7360 tons gross, and is under the command o{ Captain Angot. She was built at Rouen, France, in 1021, and is owned by the Compaigne de Navigation Mixte de Marseilles. The vessel will discharge at Wellington to the agency of Messrs. Dalgety and Co.
