The president (Mr. F. Meadowcroft) presided at the fortnightly meeting of the committee of the S.P.C A The in spector reported having investigated several cases of alleged cruelty since tiie previous meeting. The majority of these cases concerned cruelty arising out of neglect, and steps were taken to ensure .better treatment for the animals in fn lure.
