MOTORISTS WARNED

♦ . . ■ ■ TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—-I noticed a bylaw case recently reported'in your paper, in which a motor driver was fined with costs and heavy expenses, simply because it had to be admitted he could have been a foot nearer to the left-haud side kerb. It was .proved I he was oh the correct sifle of - the street, but this made no difference. Is it not' evident that the words of the bylaw, "To ', keep as near as practicable to the lefthand side," are being used to increase "business," and bring in the "bawbees?" Motorists should take notice.—l am etc. • : -••■•■ ■ ■■ PUNISHED. i 19th July.
