PNEUMONIC CASES IN CANTERBURY
EPIDEMIC WELL IN HAND.

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
During the past twenty-four hours nineteen fresh eases of pneumonic influenza have been reported to the Health Officer, twelve in the city, two at Amberley, three at. Timaru, and one each ut Springfield and Kanieri (West Coast). The Health Officer, however, regards the epidomic as well in hand. The continuous wet we. V.her is retarding the recovery of patients.
