FIRE

The shop and contents of the General Galvanising Works in the. Artcraft Theatre building, Molesworth street were badly damaged by fire yesterday afternoon.- The fire brigade received a call at 3.46 o'clock; and on arrival at the premises found that the flames had a good hold. The fire was confined to the shop, the occupant of which" was Arthur L. Spires. The shop is owned by. the Artcraft Theatre Company.-The contents were insured in the Insurance Office of Australia for £1025.
