. LONDON, 15th July. . The participation qi Dominion representatives in . Colonial administration was foreshadowed in the House of Lords by Lord Devonshire in a reply to a question. He stated that a representative of the 'Colonial Office had toured Canada to get into close touch with the universities in collection . with special arrangements made to consider the applications of Canadian graduates for appointment to the colonial services in Tropical Africa and elsewhere. Each Canadian University had a Selection Board, with a Central Committee at Ottawa. The scheme was at present in the experimental stage, but already two Canadians had been successfully appointed one to Mauritius and the other to the Gold Coast
