WIDER PERSPECTIVE
ADVISED FOR BRITISH POLICY.
LONDON, 14th July. The "Sunday Express," publishing a declaration of its policy entitled "Clear Out of Europe," says: "Unless Franco comes to her economic senses and abandons the idea of collecting debts, by force of arms, Britain's markets will not be in Cjentfal Europe. Thei' should and can be found within ihe Empire, in the oversea DomjniqnSj and the new republics, of. America." The "Sunday Express" believes the right ideal is England as the industrial and financial centre of Empire and its world trade looking outwards towards the Seven Seas, not inwards across the Channel or the North Sea.
