LEVIN STOCK SALE.
The l»ew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report that at their Levin sale on Tuesday their yarding cf sheep, cattle, and pigs was below the averuge, and the attendance of buyers, owing to other attractions, was not ao lar s e as uusa. In pigs the ottering was below that of. the previous week, but competition was fairly keen. Weavers realised from 21b to 28s, and porkers from 30s to 335. No baconers were penned. Competition for sheep was by no means brisk, the major portion of the yarding being paissed in. Cattle in fair numbers came under tile hammer, but competition was poor.
