The high price of milk and the consequent impossibility for the poorer classes ■•.o, provide a. good supply for their children, with the subsequent evil effects upon their growth and development, has been a- much-discussed subject in the tress and among those havin-r the children s welfare at heart.
Some time ago a "More Milk" cam: pwgn was started, and in connection therewith a number of underweight chilli WCl'e w eCt°d al several public schools and, for experimental-purposes supplied with a pint of milk daily AlJer three months it was found that they ►ad gamed from 2.5 to 3.9. pounds, and chad generally developed ■■ The results are considered highly sata strong. endowment of ,tne objective of the campaign'
