WOOL SALES AT GISBORNE

GISBOBNE, This Day. 'A meeting of over a hundred woolgrowers to-day affirmed the decision of ..the vy,oollirokers' Association to hold two wool sales in Gisborne. on lltb January and Bth.. February.' The Woolbrokers' Association,.the Farmers', Union, and th« Sheepowners', Federation have been endeavouring to have Gisborne included on the roster, but without success. They have now decided on the two sales, believing that sufficient buyers will attend to make the sales successful and so establish Gisborne's claim for inclusion. It is pointed out that from 8000 to 10,000 bales will be required, and a satisfactory: response has already been made by growers.
