LONDON, 16th June.
At the Liverpool wool sales 40,900 bales were offered, including 25,000 merinos, which was tlie last of Hawra's stock of merino. There vvua a large attendance, strong competition, and practically all the wool was sold, Continentals taking 80 per cent. The Home trade was rather quiet. Sjiper greasy merinos were 5 per cent, below the London closing rates, medium 7j per cent., scoureds were unchanged, and slipes 5 to li, per cent, below. For (he London woo! sales 'on- 26th June. the. catalogue includes 62.000 bales of Bav.ras, and 161.000 free.wool.
