The partly-mummified body tif an Indian cliff-dweller, estimated 'to \ K moro than ivn centuries old, has becu excavated at Xoel, in Missouri (U.S.A.), by archaeologists of tlio Am.menn Indian 'Museum. The body wan wrapped in talicred deerskin robes, belled with fur. A crass backet, believed to haxo oncn contained food, was found near thr; body in a bod. of gr<i.;fiuovorod (lags of limestone under, an overhanging cliff.
