The Swifta-Y.M.C.A. B match on Kilbirnio Park resulted in a draw, neither side registering any score. Played on a slippery ground, the game was very ragged, and though in lh« first half Swifts were aggressive, the V'.AI". defence w:is solid enough to prevent, their opponents breaking through. From playing ;t defensive game, tho Y.ij". forwards p.dopted offensive tactics shortly before ha]f-l.ime, but were unable to score. The ball was freely thrown about, Imt the slippery ground made accurate shooting and kicking difficult. 'Both sides were strongest in tiie forward lines. Mr. J. Gilbert was the referee.
