FRENCH MAKE REPRISALS.

LONDON, 14th June.

The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Express" states that the French have taken rigorous measures in Recklinghausen, where a French sentry was shot dead. Two Germans have been shot for disobeying the curfew, and over a hundred persons have been arrested. It is alleged that'a French patrol fired at lighted windows. The economic situation in the Ruhr is growing daily worse. The Gelsenkirchen furnaces will soon be compelled to close owing to lack of fuel.
