SHORTT'S THEATRE.
Jack Holt, Paramount etar, is to be seen at Shortt's: . Theatre • for the last time to-day in his latest starring vehicle, "Nobody's Money." Pretty Wanda Ha.wley heads a strong supporting cast: The second feature is "June Madness," in which Viola Dana plays the lead. Young Clytie Whitmoro is being led down the aisle of the fashionablo church. Like a- flash she resolves to desert him and runs to tho street, to go through some amazing adventures. The ' supporting 'programme is one of the best screened at this theatre for some time, and is full of interest.
That there is good in the worst of us is strikingly illustrated by Robert Cain in Gloria Swanson's new Paramount picture, "The Impossible Mrs. Uellew," which will be shown at Shortt's Theatre to-morrow. Mr. Cain plays the role of a husband who, because he loves another woman, tricks his wife into a divorce, robs her of her son, and then allows the world to think the worst of her. But eventually lie relents, and in a^ magnificent and dramatic manner does his best to make amends and bring to the woman who was his wife the happiness he had so callously robbed her of. The supporting programme, which has been specially selected, is said to contain many interesting films.
