LONDON, 4th June.

Mrs. Brown, of Plymouth, aged 75 years., went to meet her niece, who was returning from Australia on board thfl Largs Bay. Seeing the girl on a tender, Mrs. Brown waved her hand excitedly arid fell into the water. She clung to a pile till rescued by means of ropes, still grasping her handbag. When brought ashore Mrs. Brown was none the worse for her immersion, except for the chock, though she narrowly escaped being crashed to death between the incoming tender and the quayside.
