ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS <LT TELEGRAPH.—-PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, 4th June. The • annual championship piping and dancing competition of the Otago centre of the Piping and Dancing .Association of New Zealand began here to-day. The entries total 652 for the 60 events. Competitors from all over New Zealand are taking part, including practically all the best piping and dancing exponents in the Dominion. Mr.; A. 0. Dickson, of Wellington, a champion piper of a few years ago, is judging the piping, and Mr. Duncan MacKenzie (Wanganui), the present dancing champion, is judging the dancing.
