FIRE IN A THEATRE
(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) TAUMARANUI, This Day. A fire broke out in the Theatre Royal at 3 o'clock^ this morning. The building was'used last night for a ball, and when the proprietor locked up at 1.30 everything was in order. The brigade effected a smart save, and the rear portion only, comprising the dressing rooms, kitchen, and part of the stage, was damaged to the extent of about £350. The building was insured,for £1000.
