FOUND DEAD ON THE ROADSIDE
(II TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
CARTERTON, This Day. A man, aged about 60 years, was found dead on the roadside at Taratahi early this morning. Apparently he had wandered along last night ami tripped tuid fell on a stone, which gashed his forehead over the left eye. He huddled into a fence, and the intense cold and wet caused death from exposure. The body was removed to the morgue at Carterton, where a search revealed no identification marks. The deceased has grey hair and a brown moustache going grey. His height is sft 6jin. He was wearing a brown suit and black hat.
